CHILD CUSTODY part two
After making sure that you are aware of all the activities that your child is involved with remember this your child is not a bargaining tool. Do not use your child your motives will be apparent and you more than likely will fail.
Be honest with yourself and make sure that you have a plan and the ability to be successful in raising your child. There are several articles on the web and a little research can put you mile ahead of your spouse. One thing to remember in Alabama the first time custody is determined the court only looks at the best interest of the child, the next time it is a much high standard and your chance of success in diminished. So, as the saying goes, “don’t put off till tomorrow what you should do today” or something like that.
In summary be prepared.
